Russ Rodgers has over 30 years in commercial real estate, finance, business management, sales, marketing, retailing and brokerage. He offers his clients a superior level of insight and consultative services. He is especially familiar with closely held corporations and sole proprietor businesses. His career has taken him to (40) countries around the globe. He has an outstanding knowledge base of the entire state of Florida and has traveled to (50) of Florida's (65) counties and (45) of the United States. He has lived and worked in the following states, Michigan, California, Indiana, Hawaii, Minnesota, Georgia and Florida. Russ specializes in the hospitality industry, hotels, motels, B&Bs, restaurants, service businesses, distributors, manufacturing and distribution. He has sold millions of dollars of worth of real estate including B&Bs, Motels, Hotels and Businesses of all kinds. Russ can assist you with all commercial financing needs from SBA loans to conventional commercial property loans. He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising (East Lansing, MI) and an MBA in Management from St. Leo University (St. Leo, FL). Russ has done additional degree work at Valencia Community College (Orlando, FL), Hillsborough Community College (Tampa, FL), University of South Florida (St. Petersburg, FL), Florida International University (North Miami, Fl and Seminole, FL), Southern Cross University (Lismore, NSW, Australia) and Bellermine College (Louisville, KY). He is presently completing requirements to become a CHB (Certified Hotel Broker). Licenses held include State of Florida, Real Estate Broker and State of Florida, Mortgage Broker. Russ is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in Michigan and Hawaii (inactive)... He is a former member of the faculty of St. Petersburg College, St. Petersburg, Florida and is presently a member of the faculty of Canyon College, Caldwell, UT and a past Adjunct Faculty member of Schiller International University, Dunedin, Florida and Saint Leo University, St. Leo, Florida. Russ is proud to claim the title of, "Former U.S. Marine."
Gilberto Gil Sanchez was born and raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia. At the age of twelve, Gil moved to Colombia, South America. Gil returned to the U.S at sixteen, where he graduated from Riverview High School in Sarasota, Florida. Gil began college at the University of Florida “U.F.”. Gil majored in political science, and received a minor and certification in Latin American Studies. He was a member of Delta Chi Fraternity, Florida Blue Key, President of the Colombian Student Association (COLSA), President of the Hispanic Student Association (H.S.A), and Student Senator. Gil was awarded a prestigious internship with U.S. Senator Bob Graham’s Washington, D.C. office through the Washington Center. Gil was awarded the most prestigious leadership awards at U.F.: Outstanding Male Undergraduate Leader, Outstanding Hispanic Student of the Year, U.F. Hall of Fame and Who's Who. Gil also co-founded Bleu Whale Entertainment, a special event planning company that promoted concerts and theme nights for over five years. After graduation, Gil entered law school at the Levin College of Law at U.F. Gil was President of the Law College Council and co-founded another small business. Upon graduation, Gil moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to spear head a start-up manufacturing company. Gil returned to Tampa, Florida to practice Corporate & Business law and assist in state lobbying with Stiles, Taylor & Grace, P.A. Gil then went to Maney & Gordon, P.A. to form its Corporate Department, in addition to practicing Immigration and Civil Litigation. In January 2007, Gil founded Sanchez Law Offices, P.A. with offices located in South Tampa’s, Hyde Park and Port Charlotte. His primary areas of practice are Corporate & Business Law, Business Brokerage Law, in addition to Family & Business Immigration, Wills, Trusts, Real Estate and Civil Litigation. Gil is also a Business Broker, representing buyers and sellers of businesses, including Mergers and Acquisitions. Gil and the firm are committed to serving the Tampa Bay community. Gil co-founded and serves as Co-Chair of a Florida non profit, HYPE-Hispanic Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs, Inc. (www.hypetampabay.org), dedicated to reducing the dropout rate among Hispanic students K through 12. Gil also serves as Board Member of Bay Area Advisors; Board Member and Secretary of HBIF-Hispanic Business Initiative Fund, Inc.
